2002 was a tough year for many suppliers of data- and telecommunications fiber. The market was filled with overbids, bankruptcies, general panic and a fall in lead-generating activities. Song Networks was no exception.

Gekko suggested that Song Networks take advantage of the situation. The idea was to enter into a dialogue with potential customer in order to develop and position Song Networks as a professional supplier.

Leads were invited to participate in the development of Song Networks to position Song Networks as a credible and strong alternative.

  • Over 40% of potential IT managers responded to the survey
  • Song Networks booked meeting with 50% of those who had participated in the dialogue
  • 5 new companies initiated contact themselves to become customers
